Checkout & Shipping Policy


Shipping:  I ship USPS Priority Mail. We only ship to the United States.  There are no farm pickups. The farm is my home and is not open to the public.  The dahlia tubers are offered online only.  

I really pack the tubers with peat and/or vermiculite in the bag and padding in the box. I know shipping is expensive but I do like to pack the tubers well to protect them from any damage from my house to your house. Shipping rates vary also especially when I send to the west coast.

1-18 tubers, $15.95 flat shipping and handling rate.
over 18 tubers $23.95 larger box.

I do not mail dahlia tubers early.   We ship tubers in March depending on the weather to southern Florida, southern Alabama, and southern Texas. We ship to the southern U.S. and warm west coast states in early April. We ship to the northern U.S. in the middle to the end of April. We do not want the tubers to freeze in transit so everything will depend on the weather. We ship USPS Priority Mail. You will receive an email prior to shipment. Please let me know if your address or email changes. We need a physical address for shipment.

Damages:  Garden Bee Flower Farm is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping.  If you received your order damaged, please contact the USPS to file a claim.  Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.

Items in cart:  Please remember that all sales are first come, first serve. If there is a dahlia variety that you really want, you need to purchase it first and then place a second order. Items in your cart are not confirmed until the checkout process is complete. Once items are placed in your shopping cart, they can be removed from your cart or say “unavailable” before you have totally checked out. This is because several people have placed an order for the same items and checked out before you. Some varieties are really in demand and sell out in minutes. I will try to refund any excess shipping due to second orders. 

Checkout:  We accept most credit cards along with Apple Pay.  We also accept Shop Pay and suggest you log into Shop Pay ahead of time for a faster checkout process.  We do not accept PayPal.

Any dahlias that are on the website are for reference only and say sold out.  My Garden Bee Hive club has first access to my tuber sale. Afterwards, I will announce it on my Instagram stories and to my newsletter subscribers. All orders need to be place online on my website. I do not mail tubers early. They will be sent out in March and April depending on where you live.
