My tuber sale was in December 2022. I have left the dahlias on the website for information only. Thank you for your support!
I have added some dahlia classes via Zoom. See the Education tab.
Sorry I do not sell dahlia seeds. I just collect seeds for my own breeding purposes. I may do some seed giveaways on my Instagram.
See the Heat Tolerant Dahlia tab for a list of dahlias that do well in my southeast U.S. garden.
Dahlia viruses are a concern with everyone. I follow what the American Dahlia Society recommends. I disinfect my tools with a 10% bleach solution every time I use my tools between each dahlia plant. If a dahlia looks strange, odd, or weak, I remove the dahlia from my dahlia field. I try to be as organic as possible with my pest management program; however, I do spray every 2 weeks in the late evenings to avoid hurting the pollinators. I have tried some home testing; however, it can be very expensive and not feasible to test all your dahlias. I do the best I can to have a “clean” garden.
I am growing dahlias in the Piedmont Triad of North Carolina in plant hardiness zone 7. We do have hot and humid summers with many days in the 90's. All the dahlias that I sell do well in these conditions in my garden. They may grow differently due to your garden setup or soil conditions. I like dahlias to stay true to their form.
Please see FAQ tab on our website for frequently asked questions. Remember dahlia tubers ship in April of 2023. Thank you for your support. I know you will enjoy your dahlia flowers during the growing season.
