Limited Edition. Only 1 to 3 tubers per customer.  Paula's Miss Confident is a vibrant, fiery dark pink dahlia that is around 3 inches to 3.5 inches across in diameter.  I like to cut my dahlias when they are 3/4 the way open as I like the darker pink color in the center and the longer vase life.  As the bloom matures on the plant, the bloom size becomes bigger and the color can soften more.  She made sure that I noticed her in my dahlia garden in 2022.  Her petals flow back to the stem giving her a proud, poised look. She tolerates our humid summers. The bloom angle looks upward.  She is so confident so I named her Miss Confident. lol. Someone told me that you can never have enough hot pink as it makes the orange and bronze dahlias look even better in floral arrangements. Miss Confident definitely stands out!  She grows around 3 to 4 feet tall in my garden.  She has the stellar form.  According to the American Dahlia Society, the stellar form is characterized by petals that are long and narrow along their length, with pointed tips preferred.  The stellar form does exhibit space between the petals in each row but has a uniform, regular arrangement.  I do remove spent blooms and keep her cut so that she produces more blooms to enjoy.  She does like to produce seed so I keep her cut back so she stays in production mode and not seed production mode until the fall.  I plant my dahlias in late April to early May, and Paula's Miss Confident starts blooming in July and blooms until frost.
All tubers are sold as a single tuber with a visible eye.  Tuber orders do not ship until April depending on the weather.  If you live in southern Florida, southern Alabama, and southern Texas, I will try to ship tubers in March depending on the weather.  They are shipped USPS.  I only sell and ship in the U.S.  I do have a checkout & shipping policy on my website.
Remember it can take 1 to 2 seasons for your new dahlia tuber to adapt to its new environment with different daylight hours, climate, and soil conditions.  Be patient as your dahlia becomes established and adjusts to its new home.
I am not restricting the resale of my dahlia cultivars through trademarks/royalties or other means.  I do ask that you always use the full name of my dahlia.  For example, when referring to Paula's Miss Confident, please use the full name and include Paula's at the beginning of the name.  I appreciate it.
